Motorized Roller Blinds

Motorized Blinds and Home Automation

If you are into smart homes and home automation, we can provide you with motorized blinds, which you can control with a remote. Up to 15 blinds can be controlled using a single remote. All 15 blinds can be fully opened or closed at the same time using one common channel on the remote.

Motorised Roller Blinds use tubular motors as the driving force. With just a switch of a button, it is easy to operate and the motors run quietly and steadily.

Motorised Roller Blinds can be used in public and commercial buildings like offices, convention centers. as well as in apartments and houses where there is a need to automate some or all of the blinds in the property.

There are two main types of tubular motors for motorised roller blinds. These are

  • Battery operated motors (these need to be recharged once every 3-6 months)

  • Mains operated motors ‐ these typically use the normal mains supply in the house (230V) to run.

A remote is supplied for every 15 blinds. However, two remotes may be needed in some cases even though the blinds may be less than 15. As an example, it would make sense to have one remote for downstairs and another for upstairs in a property with two levels, instead having just one remote.
